Product Overview
This is the thinnest film in the range, and also one of the strongest. At just 11.5μm, tensile strength reaches 271 MPa MD — higher than many thicker grades — so it holds up under tension without stretching out of shape. It also has a slightly unusual thermal profile: shrinkage is 1.5% MD but −0.1% TD, meaning the film expands very slightly across its width when heated. That behaviour is useful in precision electrical and electronic work where thin, stable insulation is required.
